Consoles Vs PC Gaming
The battle has long been held between the different types of gamers. What’s even better, a console or PC gaming? That is a question impossible to answer in this generation, but we can all keep trying.
Since 2009, PC game sales rise, while revenue declined console gaming. 2010 marks the first shift in the last trend, in which more money is generated by selling PC games than console games. This trend began to reverse the signs of this year’s forecast for the holiday season and in 2012 showed a greater increase in sales of console games over PC.
Hardcore gamers PC’s processing power is often pointed as the reason behind their choice. PS3 is the most powerful of the big consoles, but weighs 550 MHz. While this is sufficient for almost all games, the emergence of HD and 3D gaming began more juice to run at maximum graphics performance needs.
Regardless of which side you are, one thing is clear: there is no end in sight either to a PC or game console. The second is the ever-increasing popularity and there is enough space for more competitors if necessary.
